Very light and very North wind. Just Martin from Hollywood with a student. Surprisingly good lift to the left and easy flying, once up.

Small soaring XC: after taking off, fly to NE for approximately 7km where the hills finish. Its a very east and safe soaring XC. Another possibility is flying to Wollongong but that's a bit more tricky, you need the right wind and emergency landings are not everywhere.
