This site is not for beginners!! Take off is short and in a strong slope, top landing may be tricky !! But once in the air, this is a tremendous site : wonderful flying above the lake, and if you fly up to Dormillousse castle, a huge XC potential is in front of you; to the South to Saint Vincent Les Forts, or go have a breathtaking view of the lake of 'Serre Poncon' going north above the Morgon. This site may be crowded in the summer season, learn your priority rules and fly 'relax' ;)

At the village entry, very short but good breeze blowing here : not recommended to novices. in spring and automn, you can land on the beach near the lake, but this become a camping at summer and landing there is not allowed !!! the official landing is the field next to the take off : fly if you think you can land on top. Top landing may be tricky because of rotors if you go to far behind the landing field : stay as close as possible to the wind side of the landing. The launch is in the village, next to the biggest hotel, you can't miss it ! To go to Saint Vincent, find a road map ;)

Lake breeze may get strong at take off during the hot afternoon hours. Avoyd the rotors while landing top : don't go to far downwind on your landing approach. This site can be flown if there is 'Mistral' in the Rhone valley, but then it gets )very) crowded...
