Cow pasture; land *west* of north-south dirt track parallel to creek. East-side field not currently approved for landing. Parking along main road in cleared area, don't block mailboxes. Avoid cattle when landing. From Portland, Highway 6 to Tillamook, right on Wilson River Loop, right onto Sollie Smith Rd N. Marine air can condense rapidly in front of launch creating white-out conditions. Strong thermals possible during summer, prevailing northerly summer winds may be thermal blocked up launch slope but create rotor turbulence aloft.
