Wonderfull view on the dead sea and nice breeze soaring/thermals flight. May be a sensitive place since Israel border is in the valley just in front : try to obtain permission from Aerosports Club of Jordan.

On the hill just south of the church of the real Mount Nebo. There's a track leaving to road to the left just 100m after the church tourists parking lots. Walk that track and find any suitable place to take off. top landing rather easy landing down : not tried but at first sight very possible without major problems. From Amman, take the higway to Madaba, then follow the signs to Mount Nebo, very touristic place, you can't miss it ;) This site is on the dead sea valley, with israel just in front : the police/army is never far and may be surprised to see you fly if you haven't warned them...
