You can take off on both sides of the mountain depends on the wind. On one side you have Elfer lift, which will bring you exactly at the taking off place (1750m high). It cost aprox. 10 euro oneway or you can take day card. On the other side you have Schlick2000 there is a lift as well, it will get you to the taking off place (2100m high). On Elfer there is a big meadow where you can land, on the other side where Schlick2000 is you can land in town Fulpmes close to a road or you can land close to the lift station, but not all of the time. From Innsbruck you have to get on to A13 Brenner-Autobahn direction Italy. You have to follow the signs for Stubai Gletscher. Coming from Innsbruck you have to pay a toll 2.50 euro for crossing the Europe bridge after the brige there is a tunnel and then you have to take the first exit for Stubaital. If you want to fly from Schlick2000 then you have to take the exit for Fulpmes, there will be a sign for the lift. If you want to fly from Neustift you have to drive further until you see a sign. Get into the town and afther the BP/OMV gas station turn left and you are at the lifst station. na. na.
