Official landing site 2 miles from the ramp, on a side road in the district of Pereiras; steep uphill landing site, sometimes turbulent depending on the wind conditions. Landing and pilot pick-up are easier along Capitão Barduíno road, from Socorro to Bragança Paulista. 82 miles from São Paulo, 3 miles from downtown Socorro heading to the tower hill; good access road with signs to the ramp.
