It is no wonder this is one of Spain's top sites. Home to numerous Opens, including British and Dutch. The possibilities for XC flying are endless. East to West you can easily break the 100km mark, some local pilots are close to breaking the 200km barrier. Plus the weather can be counted on to be excellent in Spring Summer and even Autumn.

The predominant take-off is the West facing one, thus it has been accommodated accordingly. It's very spacious and easy. There is a fountain for water and shade where you can rest. It has a large patch of fake grass for taking off and this makes inflating the canopy all the easier. Cars are left near by and there is room for plenty of them. It has the possibility of top landing The landing runs East to West and it is very long, hanggliders have no problem landing here. When the wind (rarely) comes in from the South you have to watch out, it has a telephone line running along its North side and a high-tension line running along its South side. This is usually not a problem because the wind comes in from the West 90% of the time
