Early thermal flights and later afternoon flights are the norm for paragliders. Hanggliders can launch all day.
There are two main launches, one at the reflector towers, and one 200 yards north on the ridge. The main landing area is on BLM land at the mouth of the canyon on the road up. Landing directly below launch there is a field with no fences to cross. Lots of landing areas in fields but avoid livestock and alfalfa and the ranchers a cool. One mile north of Randolf Utah there is the Crawford Mt. road heading east. From the landing area the road heads up the canyon to the top. After the last switch-back near the top take the road to the right to the launch. None None
Top landings in strong cross-winds not advised
