Suitable for wind directions all the way from NW to S. Height difference from highest ridge to valley floor is approx 1000ft.

Several take off areas along the top. Lots of space to land on the valley floor. Easy to find. From Dungarvan drive to Geary's Cross. Turn right to Kilbrien. In Kilbrien (a very small village) keep left at Y junction (drive past Community Hall). Keep straight until you drive over a 'cattle grid' in the road and take next turn left onto a dirt track. Follow dirt track all the way to the end. From Clonmel drive to Dungarvan to Geary's Cross, turn left, then as above. 'G' airspace. 'G' airspace.

Sometimes a 'valley effect' can be felt on landing, especially with a stiff SW wind.
